Does this mean YUI appeals to the same audience who buys NEWS and Exile, and that they chose to (or could only afford to) buy one or two singles that specific week, penalyzing YUI? I would tend to think Exile and NEWS are in more direct competition with one another. YUI doesn't do dance music... so what are the non-dance-music people doing?

I really don't understand the "singles" music market. We don't have that over here so I just can't wrap my mind around it.

And yes, Umbrella live was great! I was so pissed it didn't make it to the DVD, then again, they were just saving it for later.

I'm not very fond of this single... at first I really liked Namidairo because it seemed to sound like her old stuff, like a track of FROM ME TO YOU. And yes, in the end it's like that, like an album track of that album. With all the consequences. Now that she has released strong and great singles something like this it's crappy. I wanna be it's a good b-side indeed, but it hasn't charm, I can't be pleased with this single since it doesn't have any song I really love

I felt the same when she released My Generation/Understand, not too bad, but it has nothing to do against CBML singles. LOVE & TRUTH was an improvement in my opinion, and Jam is a really good b-side, but in general they sound poor compared with another great times.

Sounds like a huge step up from Namidairo.

If the rest of the album tracks are near this good it's going to be the best album this year. She just topped every post-CAN'T BUY MY LOVE single by a long shot.

yeah, this song is sooo amazing that im definitely buying her album when it comes out - i also love all her other singles for this album, so it's a 100% buy for me

as for Namidairo debuting at #3, i was hoping she'd do better, but this single i guess wasnt as strong as My Generation / Understand or LOVE & TRUTH... hope she'll do better for the rest of the week to nab at least an overall #2 spot (although i'd like for her to keep her #1 record going)
