Natsukoi promotion picture [2008.11.26]

KCB is a Japanese band, lead by former ORANGE RANGE drummer KATCHAN. They released their debut single A RIZE in spring 2008. It is used as the theme song of Japanese airing of the Hawaiian drama Beyond the Break.

The band was first formed in summer 2006, when KATCHAN decided he wanted to be in a band again. He teamed up with his classmate from when he was at High School in Okinawa, TSUKASA, and made original songs together with him in sessions. TSUKASA contacted his friend DAIKI who he had met at a Tokyo music school, who agreed to becoming a part of the band in October 2007. A month later, JAEHEE was discovered by the band during a vocalist audition session. Later on, YA-CHA was added to the band as the 2nd vocalist.

Their name originally stood for KATCHAN Band, however it has been re-stylised as the backronym KICK CHOP BUSTERS.

A RIZE is KCB's debut single. It was used as the first theme song for the Japanese screening of the US drama Hawaiian drama Beyond the Break. Their second single, Natsukoi, followed this song. First press of the single includes a logo sticker.
